The Shrubbery is an early 19th-century vicarage located on Vicarage Road. This two-storey building is faced with stucco and features an eaves fascia cut in a trefoil pattern. The front of the building is symmetrical with four windows, including 2-light Gothic casements on the first floor and later glazing in the French windows on the ground floor. The entrance has a recessed door made up of four fielded panels and two flush panels, framed by a plain doorcase. The Shrubbery is part of a group that includes The Hermitage and The Balsters.
