Description

Amoy Cottage is a mid-19th century villa, dated 1854, located on Old Road East. The building has two storeys and is finished in stucco. It features long and short quoins and a slate roof. The right side gable has curved, fretted bargeboards, a pendant, and a finial, while the left side has a gablet with similar bargeboarding. The front has two sash windows with hood moulding but no glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a three-light bay window that is crenellated above. The entrance is sheltered by a gabled weather porch, which also has fretted bargeboards, a pendant, and finials. To the right, there is a two-storey extension.
