Description

Windmill Terrace is a mid-19th century terrace of five houses. The construction is stock brick, with the side elevations rendered, and a slate roof with brick chimneystacks, the stack for number 25 being rendered. The properties are two storeys and have a basement, each with five windows. The first-floor windows are 12-pane sash windows with marginal lights. The ground-floor windows are round-headed and recessed, featuring glazing bars and marginal lights. The doorcases are also round-headed and recessed, containing mainly 20th-century doors. Flights of steps lead from the street to the front of the terrace, protected by cast iron railings featuring anthemion motif panels.
