Description

Leigham Lodge is an early to mid-19th century villa of two storeys and an attic, featuring three windows. The exterior is rendered in stucco, with a horizontal band marking the first-floor sill level. The low-pitched, swept hipped slate roof has deep eaves incorporating alternating brackets and modillions. The central ridge terminates in substantial chimney walls, which hold tall, chamfered stucco shafts and accommodate round-arched attic windows between the flues. Moulded architraves frame sash windows with glazing bars, and cornices are present on the ground floor. A set of four stone steps with wrought iron railings leads to a classical porch, which shelters a four-panel double door with a patterned radial fanlight above. A two-storey, set-back extension is located to the left.
