Description
Ballymans is a detached house that underwent early 19th century remodelling of an earlier structure. It features roughcast cob on stone footings and has a gabled-end thatched roof. The house has a two-room single-depth plan, with the entrance located on the left side of the front and a rear wing. It has two storeys and an axial stack.
The front of the house has an irregular two-window arrangement, with two three-light horizontal sliding sash windows on the first floor and two three-light casement windows on the ground floor, though some glazing bars are missing. There is a doorway on the left with a fielded panel door. The left-hand end has late 20th century fenestration, while the right-hand end adjoins another dwelling. The rear features casement windows and a slate-roofed lean-to.
