Description

Bixley Haven is a detached house built in the early 19th century. It features a blocked stucco exterior and a slate roof with two gabled ends. The house has a central staircase and a double depth plan, with each range having its own roof. The front of the house is symmetrical with three window bays, the central bay projecting and topped with a gable that has cusped bargeboarding. There is a round-headed two-light window in the attic of the gable wall, and all windows are hornless 12-pane sashes. The central doorway is round-headed, adorned with a pediment and reeded pilasters, and has a semi-circular fanlight above a half-glazed door. The gable ends also feature hornless sash windows and wavy bargeboarding.
