Row of cottages. Circa 1840. Roughcast brick with gabled-end slate roofs. Single- depth plan with 1 room and entrance hall to each cottage. 2 storeys. Front: one 16-pane hornless sash window to first floor of nos. 4, 5 and 6, 2 to No. 7: 1 each to ground floor. No. 4 entered from lane to left-hand end; the others with front doors, nos. 5, 6 and 7 with canopies, nos. 6 and 7 with shaped brackets. The latter also retain their contemporary panelled doors. Axial stacks with brick shafts. Included for group value.
