Description
This barn, located approximately 60 feet southwest of Bulverton Well Farmhouse, is an old cob building set at an angle to the road. It has been well repaired with brickwork and features a semi-circular projection on the road front. The barn is topped with a thatched roof that has an undulating eaves line. It includes hatches and large double stable doors, as well as a raised doorway with a curved flight of stone steps. This structure is part of a small rural development just north of Sidmouth, near the junction of Bulverton Road with Dark Lane.
