Description

The Square numbers 1 to 5 comprise two rows of stone and rough cast cottages with thatched roofs, set at right angles to each other and partially hidden behind a green space. The cottages are two storeys high and feature two-light wooden casement windows and simple cottage doors. The taller range of cottages likely dates to the 18th century, while the other range may be earlier. These buildings are designated as a group due to their cohesive appearance.
