Description

Lower Woolbrook Cottages, consisting of numbers 4, 5, and 6, date from the 17th century or possibly earlier. They are constructed from old stone rubble and cob, topped with thatched roofs. At the back, there is one external stone chimney featuring offsets and slate weathering, along with a brick stack. The cottages have 2 and 3 light 19th-century casement windows and plain cottage doors. The entrance to number 6 is located on the return front and has a newly thatched porch. The first-floor windows on this side have thatch "eyebrowed" over them. Numbers 1 to 6 Lower Woolbrook Cottages form a group.
