Description

Primley House is a two-storey stuccoed house built around 1840, located on the west side of Sidford Road. It features a low pitch hipped slate roof with wide eaves. The front of the house facing the garden has three windows with recessed sashes that have no glazing bars, along with Venetian shutters and blind cases. On the ground floor, there are two French windows and a central bay. A glazed roof verandah with an open work fascia board and wooden supports adds to its charm. The main entrance is on the side and includes a large projecting glazed porch. The gable is adorned with fretwork and a finial, and there is an oval light in the pediment with marginal glazing on the side lights.
