Description
Lymebourne House is a plain square stucco house built around 1830-1840. It stands two storeys high and features a plinth and a band between the storeys. The roof is a low pitch hipped slate design with wide bracketed eaves. The front of the house is symmetrical with three windows, which are recessed sashes with intact glazing bars. A central Tuscan porch leads to a panelled door topped with a semi-circular fanlight. There are two-storey additions on both the left and right sides of the original front, designed in a sympathetic style. The former grounds of the house have been developed into a Council House Estate, which now conceals the house from the road.
