Description
Sid House, formerly known as Sid Guest House, is a two-storey building dating from the late 18th century. It features a red brick front and has a gable end roof covered with old slate, complete with saddlestones at the gables. The symmetrical facade includes four sash windows, which retain their glazing bars and are set within rusticated surrounds with voussoirs above flat arches. The central entrance is highlighted by a well-crafted painted stone Tuscan porch with an open dentil pediment. The door is recessed and consists of six flush panels, with panelled reveals and soffit, and is topped by a semi-circular fanlight with radial glazing.
