Description

SID LANE 1. 1633 Nos 6 and 7 SY 1388 7/274 II 2. Also known as Nos 1 and 2 Sid Bank. Circa 1840 - 50 pair of small houses at right angles to Sid Lane. 2 storeys rough cast with plinth. Each house has central projecting gabled bay with quoins. Gables have openwork barge-boards and finials. Gable end slate roof, bracketed eaves. 3 windows each: recessed 2-light casements. Venetian shutters to ground floor of No 6 and fretted blind ease to the 1st floor central window. No 7 has solid shutters to 1st floor windows. Doors recessed under triangular arches in the projecting central bays.
