Description
West View, also known as Nos 3 and 4, is a pair of houses likely built in the early Victorian period. They are terraced with two other houses to the left and do not quite match each other. The houses are constructed of dressed coursed stone and are two storeys high, topped with slate roofs. Each house features three sash windows with glazing bars. The central doorways are flanked by Tuscan pilasters and have moulded straight hoods above them, with overlights that include margin glazing bars. The door of No 3 has margin glazing bars, while No 4 has a door with six moulded vertical panels. Both houses have gable copings; however, No 3 has an eaves coping over a moulded cornice, whereas No 4 only has a moulded eaves cornice.
