Description
Moor Cottage is an 18th-century country cottage located on Wells Road, Ilkley. It is a two-storey building constructed of dressed coursed stone, which has been painted. The roof is covered with stone slabs. The west front features an unmoulded pediment spanning the entire width, enclosing an oval oculus. It has three sash windows with glazing bars; the lower side windows have been altered to be 2-storey bay windows with sashes. The north front also has three sash windows, with the side windows being 2-storey bay windows. A central door has an overlight and six moulded panels. Decorative paired gutter blocks are present. The cottage abuts No. 1 Crossbeck Road, which faces it at a right angle to the south.
