The roof is covered with stone slabs. The west front features an unmoulded pediment spanning the entire width, enclosing an oval oculus. It has three sash windows with glazing bars; the lower side windows have been altered to be 2-storey bay windows with sashes. The north front also has three sash windows, with the side windows being 2-storey bay windows. A central door has an overlight and six moulded panels. Decorative paired gutter blocks are present. The cottage abuts No. 1 Crossbeck Road, which faces it at a right angle to the south.
