Description
Ilkley Hall, built around 1840, is a two-storey building constructed of ashlar with a flipped stone slab roof and moulded eaves. The north front features three windows with moulded architraves and sashes that include glazing bars. There is a central doorway with a porch supported by plain pilasters, topped with an entablature and a heavy pediment. To the left, there is a one-storey extension that forms a large canted bay with big sash windows that also have glazing bars. Further left is a modern one-storey extension with two windows. The west front has seven windows and includes an extension and a lower two-storey wing, which may have originally been stabling. The building is situated behind the east side of Wells Road, at the end of its own drive.
