Description
West View, also known as Nos 6 and 7, is a pair of early Victorian terraced houses located on Wells Road in Ilkley. The houses are constructed from dressed coursed stone and stand two storeys tall. Each house features two windows on the upper floor, which have slab surrounds and sills supported by block brackets. On the ground floor, there is a three-light window for each house, along with a door located beneath the right-hand window. This door has a moulded straight hood, although the brackets for the hood appear to have been removed, possibly temporarily. An additional door situated between the two houses leads to a through passage and is adorned with an overlight and a rusticated arch supported by corbels. All three doors have four moulded panels.
