Description
Nos 1 and 2 Middle Church Lane are a pair of houses likely altered from an older cottage. They have a similar design to Nos 3 and 4. The first floor is covered with mathematical tiles, and the roof is half-hipped to the left. Each house features a 2-light casement window and dormer windows, with the right-hand part of No. 1 being leased. On the first floor of No. 2, there is one 1½ light casement window. Both houses have a 4-paned sash window on the ground floor, wooden boarded doors with flat hoods above, and a rendered projecting plinth. They also display a small paired bracket eaves cornice. The buildings on Middle Church Lane are part of a group that includes other listed structures around the Churchyard, such as those on Upper Church Lane, Lower Church Lane, Church Passage, and Vicarage Lane.
