Description

No. 2 Upper Church Lane is a late 18th century to early 19th century building. It is two storeys high, constructed of red brick with a projecting plinth. The building features a plain string course at the first-floor level, brick dentil eaves, and an old tiled roof. On the first floor, there is one window, while the ground floor has one ledged door in a plain frame, topped with a pedimented hood supported by cut brackets on the left side. To the right, there is a modern two-light window with a three-centred head. Nos. 1 to 4 Upper Church Lane and No. 22 Dowing Street form a group with this building.
