Description

No. 18 High Street is a building from the late 18th century or early 19th century, constructed of red brick and topped with a hipped slate roof supported by paired modillions. The building stands three storeys high and features two windows with flat arches and double hung sashes. There are bands between the storeys, and the ground floor has modern bowed windows with glazing bars that flank a glazed double door. This building is part of the same structure as Nos. 2 and 4 West St Helens Street. Nos. 2 to 18 (even) are recognized as a group.
