Description

Lombard House, located on Lombard Street and including No. 6, West St Helen's Street, is an early 19th-century building. It was formerly known as the Barley Mow Public House. The building has a tile roof and is constructed of red brick. It is three storeys high, with four windows facing Lombard Street. These windows have flat stone arches with keystones and a band separating the storeys. Some of the windows are public house windows, including some with frosted glass. The elevation facing West St Helen’s Street is similar in design, featuring one window per storey, stone lintels with keystones, and a brick band separating the storeys. A four-panel door is also present. Lombard House forms a group with Nos. 2 and 4 West St Helen’s Street.
