Description

No. 2 West St Helen Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall. It is constructed of blue brick with red brick dressings and features a tiled roof. The building has a brick modillion eaves cornice and red brick bands between the storeys. There are two windows with red brick rusticated architraves, double hung sashes, and glazing bars. The corners of the building are accented with red brick rusticated quoins, and it has a stone plinth. At the ground level, there are two small shop windows with modern glass set in bolection moulded architraves, along with plain double doors. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 2 and 4 and Lombard House on Lombard Street.
