Description
This is a row of three cottages built in two stages, dating from the late 18th and early 19th centuries, with numbers 1 and 3 being the earlier of the two. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble stone with flush quoins on the right-hand side, and have a roof of Cotswold stone slate. There are four stone chimney stacks; three are on the ridge of the roof, and one is on the left-hand gable. The cottages are two storeys high and form a single range. They have five windows, each with two lights and stone mullions, fitted with leaded casements. The ground floor has four windows. The doors to numbers 1 and 3 are positioned between the first and second windows and are topped with large stone lintels. The entrance to number 5, on its right-hand return, is sheltered by a moulded flat stone hood supported on consoles, and is flanked by two windows.
