Description
Tudor House is a house originally built in the late 17th century, but it has been extensively restored in the 20th century. The building is constructed of rubble stone and features a Cotswold stone slate roof at the front, with a concrete tile roof at the rear. It has a small central ridge stack and two large gables at the front, which have coped verges and small cross saddlestones. The main range of the house includes two rear extensions, one of which dates from the 20th century. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and there is a small blind panel above each attic gable window. The front facade has three windows, which are arranged in a pattern of 3/2/3-light stone ovolo mullions that are set under hoodmoulds. The central stone doorway is topped with a large flat moulded stone hood that rests on cyma recta consoles, and there are flanking three-light windows on either side.
