Description
Coxe's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with a refacing in the mid-18th century. It features a rubble stone exterior faced in ashlar on the south front, which has long and short raised quoins. The roof is a hipped Cotswold stone slate design. The building has a square layout with a rear extension and stands two storeys tall, plus an attic that includes three hipped dormers with wooden surrounds and leaded casements.
The facade has three 12-pane sash windows, accented by long and short stone quoins, voussoirs, keystones, and plain sills. There is a flat stone band at the eaves and below the first-floor windows. The ground floor mirrors this design with two similar windows and a central doorway that features a larger version of the same motif. A sill band runs at ground floor level, with rubble stone below it.
