Description
Nos. 9, 11 and 13 Cherington are three cottages that form one building, rebuilt in 1829 as indicated by an inscription on a shield-shaped plaque located at the second floor level, to the right of the center. The building is constructed of rubble stone and features flush long and short quoins, topped with a Cotswold stone slate roof and three ridge stacks. It stands three storeys tall and consists of a single range. There are three windows on the front, which are two-light stone-mullions with square hoodmoulds on the ground and first floors, while the second floor lacks hoodmoulds. The first and second floor windows are very closely spaced, with the second floor windows positioned just below the eaves. Additionally, there are three 20th-century doors that have large stone lintels and quoins.
