DARK LANE 1. 1633 No 1 Bulverton Cottages SY 18 NW 14/147 II 2. Old 2 storey cob cottage with thatched roof (new brick, thatched cottage adjoining). Much restored, modern casements and door on ground floor. C19 casements remain on 1st floor. In wall by door is date of 1537. Part of small rural development just north of Sidmouth proper around junction of Dark Lane with Bulverton Road.
