Description

This is a barn located to the rear of Stembridge Farmhouse, dating from around 1700. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble, with some areas roughcast and others in brick. The barn features coped verges and a corrugated-iron roof. The building has a rectangular ground plan and a gabled elevation facing the road. On this elevation, there are two plank doors, one positioned above the other, along with an 8-light casement window. Additionally, there is an oval opening in a freestone surround on the gable face. The barn is included in the listing primarily for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
