Farmhouse. C17 and C18. Front is small squared and coursed limestone, other walls rubble; thatch to right half, Welsh slate to left half, lean-to to right with pantile roof. Original building two-room plan, fireplace to left, gable entry, stair at front centre; one-bay extension, left, with door adjacent to former gable entry. Two storeys, 1+2 windows. Left part has 3-light small- paned casement at each level, plank door right at junction with older unit which has two 2-light horizontal bar casements, that to right previously a door; upper level has two 2-light with early leading. Lean-to has plank door and 2-light brick stacks, left gable and at junction. Back has various 2-lights with lead- ing or glazing bars. Right end hipped over casement. Interior has oak winder stair, heavy transverse beams and exposed joists; original simple 2-purlin steep roof. Rare example of unmodified farmhouse.
