Description
The Lane monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 4 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St. John. It dates from 1742 and is made of limestone. The tomb features a moulded table and sides that are lightly carved and lettered, with columns at each end. It commemorates John and Thomas Lane, with Thomas having died in 1768.
