Description

The Glebe Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage situated on the north side of Croft Lane in Latton. Constructed of rubble limestone, it has a stone slate roof. The cottage is two storeys and an attic, with two bays. A boarded door with a glazed panel is located in the right bay. The ground floor features three-light windows, and the first floor has two-light leaded windows. A small window is positioned next to the left-hand gable stack. The roof is quarter-hipped on the right-hand side. At the time of inspection in April 1985, an extensive rear wing was in the course of construction. This building has group value from its contribution to the character of the area.
