Description

The Rowley monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 16 meters east of the chancel of the Church of the Holy Cross. It dates from the 18th century and features a moulded table with recessed fluted corner balusters. The sides and ends of the tomb are inscribed with the names of members of the Rowley family, including ELIZABETH, who died in 1782, and MARY, who died in 1792, among others.
