Description

The gate piers to the Manor House date from the 18th century and are constructed of ashlar limestone. Each pier is slender and square in shape, featuring a canted forward section and a niche at the rear. There is a round rebate for gates, which are currently missing. The piers have a necking mould and a cornice, topped with a ball finial that is raised over two stepped blocks.
