5/71 Rowley memorial about 4m south of south porch of Church of All Saints

Chest tomb. Late C18. Sandstone ashlar. Rectangular plan. Square corner balusters with inscribed projecting top slab, commemorating Elizabeth (died 1770), wife of John Rowley; at the top the head of a winged angel and at the foot a skull and cross-bones with heart. On the south side, a further inscription panel to Mary Rowley (died 1809).
