Description

The Seymour monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 42 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St. Mary. It dates from the 18th century and features a reverse moulded table with slender fluted corner pilasters. The tomb has an inscription on a raised oval, which is flanked by an urn and shields. It commemorates John Seymour, who died in 1774, and Richard Lee, who died in 1787.
