Description

The Seviour monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary Major, positioned about half a metre south of the chancel. This 18th-century monument is made of Ham stone and features a stepped base, a cavetto-moulded plinth, and plain sides. The shallow hipped top has moulded coving with rounded leading edges. It commemorates Hannah Seviour, who died in 1799.
