Description

There are three lamp standards located in front of the Town Hall on the north side of St John's Street. These lamp standards were originally part of a wrought iron screen that curved in line with the bow but has since been removed. They feature a design of lyre and honeysuckle patterns, adorned with gilt rosette ornaments. The lamps are hexagonal and topped with rosette cresting, supported on three tubular rails with additional spear head rails in between.
