Description
This large chest tomb, dating from the mid-19th century, is located 2 meters east of the south transept of the Church of St. Mary in Purton. It is made of grey sandstone and features a hipped table with recessed corner balusters. The tomb has a large lettered inscription set within a moulded panel, commemorating John Large, who died in 1834.
