Description
This is a chest tomb located about 5 metres south of the south transept of the Church of St Mary, dating from the mid-18th century. It is made of sandstone and features a flat top with a moulded edge, heavy quarter balusters, flat panels, and a moulded base. While no names are legible on the tomb, the date 1760 is visible. It is the northernmost of a group of three monuments arranged in a north-south orientation, situated immediately north of the William Allen monument.
