Description

Brindley Cottage is a canal cottage built after 1801. It features rubble stonework and a slate roof, with two storeys and three bays. The central stair hall is complemented by gable stacks. The facade is rendered and has raised quoins. It includes 16-pane sash windows with applied shutters and a six-panel door, where the upper panels are glazed, all beneath a simple bracketed canopy. There is an attached later cottage to the right, which is not included in this listing.
