Description
No 10 High Street is a house built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features diaper Flemish brickwork and a hipped tiled roof with two dormers. Inside, there is a central stair hall with reception rooms on either side. The main entrance consists of a central moulded four-panel door that is accessed by three steps, topped with a round-ended glazed fifth upper panel. A simple canopy supported by brackets is above the door. There is a later 19th-century canted bay window with sash windows and cellar traps. The upper windows are 12-pane sashes set in part concealed boxes, with rubbed flat brick arches above them. The eaves are decorated with brick dentils.
