Description
The Waggon and Horses is a public house that dates back to the 17th century. It features a stone front with timber framing and brick infilling at the rear. The front is covered with stone slates, while the rear has a tiled roof with two hipped dormers. The building is two stories high and has two-and-a-half bays facing the street, along with a two-bay rear wing. There is a stack located in the half bay at the right end and another between the rear bays. The facade is colourwashed and includes a canted and hipped brick bay window, as well as timber casements. Inside, the property boasts deep chamfered ceiling beams with checked run-out stops.
