Description

The rear gatepiers and wall, dating from the 19th century, are located in Corsham Court. They are constructed of ashlar and feature walling on either side, which is partly from the 19th century and partly earlier. The structure includes two rusticated piers with vermiculated outer faces, corniced caps, and ornate pineapple finials. There are raised gatestops present. A coped rubble stone wall extends southeast towards No 112 High Street, incorporating one ramp down. Additionally, a coped 19th-century coursed rubble stone wall extends northwest for about 10 meters to a plain flush ashlar pier, with earlier rubble stone walling continuing beyond. The listing includes only the section up to the end wall of the timber store in the estate yard.
