Description

CORSHAM CORSHAM COURT ST 8770 5/112 Timber store on west side of Estate Yard GV II

Outbuilding, possibly originally shelter shed, now timber store, late C18, rubble stone rear walls, ashlar columns and stone tiled roof, hipped to south, gabled to north. Seven-bays with ashlar Tuscan columns to east front and north end. King-post roof trusses. From east front projects lower stone-tiled range with hipped east end, south front originally of 4 open bays with stone Tuscan columns and enclosed room at east end with 2 windows to front, dormer at east end. In angle between the two ranges, a stone-tiled gable supported on timber post.
