Description
The workshop range on the south side of the estate yard at Corsham Court is an 18th-century structure built from rubble stone and topped with a stone tiled roof. The north front features seven bays supported by tapering square piers with moulded caps. There are boarded doors in the first, second, and fifth bays, while the third, fourth, sixth, and seventh bays have ashlar walling with a row of timber lights. At the right end, there is a door with a dormer gable above it and a small oak-plank loading door. Adjacent to this original range, there is an additional set of workshops that have a Bridgwater-tile lower pitch roof, which is not considered of special interest. The original workshop range has a double purlin tie-beam-and-collar roof.
