Description

No. 32 and the attached workshop range is a house and workshop built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared stone with quoins and has a stone slate roof. The building forms a continuous range with a rear outshut and stands two storeys tall.

On the workshop end, there is an elliptical-arched quoined cart-entry to the left. To the right, there are two ground-floor windows and one first-floor window, all with plain surrounds and horizontal-sliding sashes. Above the right window, there is a plaque featuring relief carvings of a blacksmith's tools, including pincers and a hammer. The house section to the right has two bays of similar windows, with 20th-century casements (a 6-pane sash is present in the ground floor on the right) and a smaller central window on the first floor. The building has two ridge stacks and mainly altered openings on the rear elevation.
