Description
This building is a former stable range located immediately east of Maltkiln Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble with quoins and features a stone slate roof. The stable range has two doorways and three windows, along with a square pitching-hole positioned at a high level. The roof is hipped, and there is a small later addition at the rear for earth closets. This structure is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
