Description

The Mizen Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 0.5 metres east of the Church of St James in South Wraxall. It commemorates Ann Mizen, who died in 1810. The tomb is made of limestone and features two recessed panels along with a plain frieze on its low, weathered top. At the time of the survey in June 1987, the monument was noted to be in poor structural condition.
