Description
The Munday Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 11 metres southwest of the tower of the Church of St Mary the Virgin. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a plinth, two fielded panels on the main sides, and one panel on the ends, topped with a moulded flat surface. It commemorates James Munday, who died in 1827.
